As part of our ongoing growth, we are expanding our team and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Stores Assistant to join our busy HGV & Plant Maintenance Garage division in Broomfield, Co. Monaghan.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Stock Controller, your duties will include:
Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the stores
Identifying and locating stock using the company’s internal system (training provided)
Liaising with internal departments and employees about parts requirements
Receiving deliveries and checking the quality and quantity of incoming goods
Preparing orders for distribution
Preparing and processing paperwork, including invoices and delivery notes
Assisting with stock control, stock organisation and regular stock takes
Entering and updating information in the stock management system (training provided)
Keeping the stores clean, organised and safe
Carrying out other duties as assigned
Requirements
Previous experience in a stores, parts, warehouse or similar role (desirable)
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highly organised
Good communication skills
Manual Handling training (desirable)
