Tusker X CIF Construction Safety Campaign 2026
Tusker Construction Group is proud to be a partner of the CIF Construction Safety Campaign 2026, running from 12th–23rd October. This year's campaign, themed "Back to Basics," encourages companies across the construction industry to step back, review their safety practices, and recommit to the fundamentals that keep everyone safe on site.
Why CIF Construction Safety Campaign 2026 Matters
Most incidents in construction don't happen because people set out to take risks. They happen when routine tasks become too familiar, hazards get overlooked, or shortcuts creep in. The Back to Basics message is simple: getting the fundamentals right, every day, is what keeps people safe and well, and sends everyone home to their families at the end of each shift.

Over the two weeks, the campaign focuses on five key themes:
Critical Risks: knowing the risks and controlling them
Health & Wellbeing: looking after physical and mental health on and off site
Frontline Workers: listening to the people who see the risks first-hand
Leadership: safety as a shared responsibility, led by example
Beyond Compliance: doing the right thing, always, not just ticking a box
Our Commitment
As a partner, Tusker is supporting the campaign across our sites and teams, reinforcing safe behaviours, encouraging open conversations about risk and wellbeing, and backing the campaign's charity partner, the Construction Health Workers Trust (CWHT), which provides free health screenings for construction workers nationwide.
Safety isn't a once-a-year conversation for us. It's embedded in how we work every day. But campaigns like this give the whole industry a chance to pause, reflect, and reinforce what matters most.
